A quality restoration starts with a properly prepared surface. Our team removes all furniture, potted plants, and loose debris from the pavers before pre-treating oil, grease, and rust stains with our bio-friendly degreasers and acids. We are able to "strip" surfaces of efflorescence (white haze) at this stage with our bio strippers and "turbo" cleaning equipment. This is CRUCIAL before applying new sealant as it will lock in the white haze or any other stain. Our high-pressure cleaning equipment allows us to deeply penetrate the pores and joints until every aspect is thoroughly prepared for sanding and sealing.

Once properly cleaned, the paver joints must dry 24-48 hours in rain-free weather before our crews install dry joint sand between them. We use a high-quality oil-based sealant that requires dry sand and minimal moisture trapped underneath. We learned over the past 25 years that taking the extra time for oil-based sealers is well worth the wait! Low-quality, water-based sealers almost always produce a white haze on the surface or deteriorate rapidly in Florida weather. Next, we remove all excess sand from the paver surfaces until the sand sits 1/8" below the top edge of pavers.

Our go-to oil-based sealer produces a wet look to your pavers and locks in that gloss. There are various sheens available if you desire a more natural look with the same protection! Now that the pavers are clean, dry, free from stains, and sanded 1/8" below the top edge, it is time to seal! Our crews will ensure the weather forecast is dry for the next 24 hours and remove any loose surface dust or sand. We utilize a low-pressure electronic sprayer that produces a perfectly even spray across the surface. Hard-to-spray sections and pool copings must be applied by rolling sealant onto the surface and joints to prevent unwanted overspray.

Pavers are now sealed! If a glossier appearance is desired, we will apply a thin second coat 2-6 hours after the initial coat. Pavers left unsealed or neglected for many years usually require an extra coat for a polished look. Prevent any foot traffic on the sealed surface for 4-6 hours after or dry to the touch. We will place all heavy furniture & potted plants back onto the cured surface 24-48 hours later. Prevent any foot traffic on the sealed surface for 4-6 hours. Vehicular traffic for 48-72 hours to prevent permanent tire impressions or scuffs on the sealed surface.
